Force Majeure & Weather
If your Morocco tour becomes impossible due to circumstances beyond either party's control — natural disasters, national emergencies, government travel bans, airline strikes affecting your inbound flight, or serious civil unrest — we offer a full refund minus any non-recoverable third-party costs (typically luxury Sahara desert camps that require irreversible pre-payment). We publish our current force-majeure position for Morocco on this page and update it if travel conditions materially change.
For weather-related disruption during your tour, we substitute the affected activity with an equivalent alternative where possible. An entire day lost to weather triggers a pro-rated refund of that day's activities on your return.
Tours Fulfilled by Viator
Some tours displayed on Morocco Private Holidays are fulfilled through our partner Viator (you will see "Viator" in the tour title or URL). Viator-brokered bookings follow Viator's own cancellation terms — usually free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour start time — which are shown on the booking page before you confirm and re-confirmed in your Viator booking confirmation email.

For weather cancellations we substitute the affected day with an equivalent activity where possible; a full-day cancellation triggers a pro-rated refund. Force majeure (natural disasters, government travel bans, airline strikes affecting your inbound flight) is fully refundable minus non-recoverable third-party costs (e.g. luxury desert camps that require pre-payment).
What happens if you cancel my tour?+
If we cancel a confirmed tour for any reason on our side — guide illness with no substitute, safety incident, or scheduling error — you receive a 100% refund of everything paid, plus a good-will voucher worth 10% of your original booking valid for 24 months. We will also help re-book any flight or hotel changes.
How do Viator-brokered tours differ?+
Tours displayed on Morocco Private Holidays that are fulfilled through Viator inherit Viator's cancellation terms (usually free cancellation up to 24 hours before start). Look for "Viator" in the tour title — the Viator terms are shown on the booking page before you confirm.
Who do I contact if my refund is delayed?+
Refunds are initiated by our team within 24 hours of the cancellation confirmation and take 5–10 business days to appear on your card. If it has been more than 14 business days, email moroccoprivateholidays@gmail.com with your booking reference and we will trace the payment with our processor.
